How do you know if you have an inheritance coming to you from a will or if you are an heir?  Many people have money coming to them but they don't even know it.  If money from an estate is unclaimed the inheritance money is placed in a trust and eventually given to the state.  Every year billions of inheritances go unclaimed by heirs and estates.  These inheritances are lost if you as an heir do not make your claim on the estate.  Kentucky requires that you make your claim within 3 years of the death or the inheritance goes to the other people claiming the estate.   

What if you as an heir you don't know about your inheritance or if you didn't even know how to make a claim against the will? What if you wanted to protest wills that left you without  a single penny.  What if the Kentucky inheritance in a will is eaten up by creditors leaving nothing to the heirs.  If you are the executor how do you find the assets so that the heirs can be paid their inheritance under the will?.  If you are a creditor how do you make a claim against the estate so the inheritance to the heirs doesn't leave you unpaid?
