We always warn people never to do your bankruptcy without a lawyer.  But if you want the most up to date Bankruptcy Court forms from the official Bankruptcy Court website they are at the below link.   The official Bankruptcy Court Forms are in Adobe Acrobat format so you can fill them out by typewriter the old fashioned way.  You can follow the forms link to the official US Court site for the forms. National Forms  Local Forms

I strongly suggest that you use a bankruptcy attorney.  We cannot offer legal advise to anyone but our clients.  The most up to date Bankruptcy Court forms are at the link.  The court clerks cannot give you any legal advise.  The court clerks are not attorneys.  They can only file court documents, turn forms away as unacceptable or give you any local court forms.  Out of state attorneys and people that only prepare you forms can't give you legal advise and you may end up on your own.   These people can't show up in court to represent you or tell you which exemption to use to save property.  And if the job is done wrong you may lose property or go to prison for fraud.

A bankruptcy lawyer is well worth the cost.  You will save the cost of the legal fees through peace of mind, and probably actual money saved in following your bankruptcy attorney's advice.  We provide our manual as a free service.  You may also need local forms and different local rules may apply to any bankruptcy filing.  Doing a court case by yourself involves risks, extra time and trouble.  You are far better off working a couple of extra weekends to make the money so that a qualified attorney can advise you and do the filing.

The Bankruptcy Manual fully discusses the filing process.   Download your free copy. The Bankruptcy manual is for informational purposes only. The Bankruptcy Manual comes in rtf format for word or WordPerfect, pdf for adobe, and you can download the audios.
